Why does Oblioria exist?

EU rules can reach a company based in the US. The EU AI Act can apply when you place an AI system on the EU market, or when your system's output is used in the EU. The GDPR can apply when you offer goods or services to people in the EU, or monitor their behavior there.

The texts are long, and they are still changing. In 2026, the Digital Omnibus on AI amended the AI Act and moved several of its dates.

Most companies start with the same few questions. Does this apply to us? For which systems? In which role? What do we do first, and by when? We built Oblioria to answer them for each AI system, in plain English, with a person checking the work.

Who is Oblioria for?

  • US companies that build AI systems and sell them to customers in the EU
  • US companies that use AI, their own or a vendor's, in products or work that reach people in the EU
  • Teams that handle personal data of people in the EU
  • The people who carry the question inside the company: legal and compliance leads, privacy leads, security leads, product and engineering leads, and founders

It works for a small team with one AI product and for a larger company with many systems. Each AI system gets its own assessment, and your whole team works in one private workspace with its own administrators.

Employers, employment agencies and HR teams seeking independent AI bias audits and tailored AI-governance consultancy for automated employment decision tools used in hiring and promotion in New York City, under NYC Local Law 144. Independent bias audits are available through AUDITLL144, while Oblioria provides specialized AI-governance consultancy.

How do we work?

  • Software that guides your team

Our platform takes your team through a structured questionnaire for each AI system. It branches, so you only see what applies, and every screen says why the question is there. Our checks are fixed rules written in advance.

  • A consultant reviews every assessment

A consultant assigned to your company reviews your answers, decides on each point the checks raise and asks follow-up questions where needed. Your consultant reviews every report before it is released.

  • Founded on European legal expertise

Oblioria is backed by the legal and regulatory experience of its co-founder Constantin Razvan Gospodin, a lawyer admitted in Spain with a focus on AI governance, EU AI Act compliance and data protection. More about him below.

  • Security first

Only your team and your assigned consultant can read your answers. Our operations staff never see them. Every Oblioria staff account uses two-step sign-in, and every change is kept on record. See Security and data protection.

  • Plain English

Questions and results are in plain English. Each item in a report gives its legal reference.

  • We say what we did not cover

Every report has a section on the limits of the review.

  • One version, start to finish

Each edition of our questionnaire is dated and fixed once published. Your assessment stays on the edition it started on, so the rules don't change halfway through.

The people

Our technology co-founder

Our technology co-founder has more than 15 years in security and software engineering at large companies, built the Oblioria platform and leads its engineering and security.

Your consultant

Every assessment is reviewed by an Oblioria consultant assigned to your company. You see who it is in your workspace, and their name is on your report.
